Noelle Clearwater, M.A., Registered Associate MFT, Bereavement Counselor

Noelle provides individual bereavement services for children and adults, and also facilitates three groups: two widow/widower support groups and a group for those who have lost parents or siblings. Before coming to HSB in 2017, she worked for the Santa Barbara Rescue Mission, New Beginnings Counseling Center, Salvation Army Hospitality House, Salvation Army ARC, and Pacific Pride Foundation. She also spent 14 years as a teacher at Santa Barbara City College in the English department. Noelle, holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology and English, and has a lifetime community college teaching credential. As of 2019, she is a doctoral student in clinical psychology at Antioch University. In her spare time, she likes to write poetry and sing show tunes. She has a beagle-dachshund dog named Penny and an orange tabby cat named Fergus.
