“HSB’s Innovative Work with Local High Schools"

Several years ago, there was a series of teen suicides in town. HSB was asked to be present on high school campuses to help students deal with their grief. After the crisis had begun to subside, the schools realized having our staff present on a regular basis would be a great asset for students as they would be experiencing the deaths of classmates and family members. We are now on six campuses every week. The team of counselors who do this work will be sharing their experiences and what they have learned.
